 The former DTM driver Maro Engel has become a new AMG brand ambassador with immediate effect. Additional duties performed by the 26-year-old driver will include acting as an instructor for the AMG Driving Academy, as well as providing support to selected SLS AMG GT3 customer teams.

 Dear Fans, I have to admit, the winter break could well be a little
shorter in my opinion. But in fairness, there is a sense to such a long
break, especially for everyone involved to get a rest and get all the
energy back, which is necessary for the upcoming season.

 Surely I have not experienced a DTM race like this so far in my career,
there was everything and more in this race, even unwanted events. Lets
start at the beginning, with good work from my Mücke team we set the car
up for qualifying throughout the free practice sessions.

 Racing on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit with my DTM C-Class is always a very special feeling, especially on the first lap through Paddock Hill Bend, the feeling can probably only be compared to the sensation at the Famous Eau Rouge corner in Spa.
