We head to Silverstone this weekend, for
our third consecutive weekend of racing.
Silverstone is a great circuit, but it wasn't my best race last
year. Hopefully I will be able to
rectify that this season with a couple of good results.
We've had a good couple of good race
weekends, which our results haven't really reflected. Spa could have been a great weekend were it
not for a mechanical failure and a very wet race under safety car
conditions. I'm hoping that the luck
will go our way a little at Silverstone, I'm hungry for more race wins!
Since the last British F3 round at Spa,
we've raced at Zolder at the F3 Masters.
Travelling to the circuit on a Thursday and then leaving on Sunday
evening leaves little time at home, so it's been quite a chaotic few
weeks. The most important thing during
that time is to rest in-between races and find some time to train.
Silverstone is a good circuit, it's quite
technical with two heavy braking areas and a difficult section of the circuit
called The Complex, which it's important to get right. I think my experience of the circuit from
last season should help, I'll be looking for some more podium positions or race
wins this weekend.
