As you might already know, this year I will drive in the DTM championship which to me is the best touring car championship in the world.

I am really happy to be the new teammate of Ralf Schumacher and to drive a 2007 Mercedes DTM C-Class at Mücke Motorsport. At the first official test in Mugello I shared Ralfs car with him and we each drove for one and a half days. What should I say: just awesome!

I can't wait to drive my own Mercedes-DTM C-Class out of the pits in a weeks time at the next test at Oschersleben! Then I will be able to show you pictures of my new car here on my website.

During the winter period I really focused on my fitness and spent most of my time on my bike or in the gym. If you want to be successful in DTM (which is my aim) then you need to be at the top of your game.

At the beginning of April we have the last pre season test in Oschersleben where I will aim to continue the work with the team so that we can start the season in best possible shape. From Oschersleben I will go straight to Düsseldorf, where the first highlight of the season will take place. The  DTM will be presented on the famous shopping mile the Kö. More than 100.000 spectators will be expected. And we will take our new cars for a ride through the streets of the city.  But what i'm most looking forward to is the season opener at Hockenheim on the 13^th of April where I will start my first DTM race!
